A man in his 30s has been sentenced to four years in prison after burning down a supported housing in Svartå in Degerfors municipality.

The fire broke out early in the morning of May 15. Several residents and staff were in the building but no one was injured, writes SVT Örebro. All six apartments in the property were completely destroyed.

The now convicted man lived in the assisted living facility and could be arrested by police. He himself says that he has no memories of the incident. In addition to arson, the man is also convicted of unlawful threats.
