Burkina Faso asks France to leave
Burkina Faso wants French soldiers to leave the country within a month, according to a diplomatic letter from the Burkinabe authorities to Paris seen by AFP.
French President Emmanuel Macron said on Sunday that he expected clarification of the request from the “highest level”.
Macron said he was awaiting clarification from Burkina Faso’s junta leader Ibrahim Traore.
