In the night from Friday to Saturday at 00.25 am, the police received a report that a possible break-in was taking place on Anna Blamanstraat. When the police came into the street, they saw a man cycling who immediately took off, in the direction of Gerard Revestraat. That street was cordoned off and his bicycle was soon found, along with some stolen jewelry. A search in the gardens initially yielded nothing, until officers saw the man lying on a flat roof from a house. There he could be arrested.
