At the beginning of the week, Burger King released the news that their restaurant at Medborgarplatsen in Stockholm will be converted to plant-based for a month, starting on March 8.
The change takes place in connection with the launch of several new plant-based products on their menu, including “Plant-based Cheesy burger”, “Plant-based Royale” and “Plant-based nuggets”.
Burger King’s novelty divides customers into two camps
But the new, green venture has received both rice and praise from customers, and during a post on Facebook opinions are divided to say the least.

Some customers are happy about the green initiative and promise to visit the restaurant during the promotional period – while others are more scornful.
“You will lose your customers”
This is how it sounds in the comment field:
“You will lose your customers. Go woke – go broke”
“In response to your plan to only drive vego for a month, I will not drive BK (Only the donken) for a month starting March 8. Hope more people do the same so you see what your customers want and follow this.”
“Staying with Donken for a month…”
“Well, no one in our family will eat a vegan burger…”
Burger King has not responded to any of the dissatisfied customers.
