A day after the announcement, not everyone in Bunschoten is aware that a new mayor has been found. Last night Jaco Geurts (CDA) was nominated in the city council. The 54-year-old Geurts is still acting mayor of Culemborg and will be installed in May in Bunschoten if all goes well.
