TP-Link‘s budget-friendly networking brand mercusyshas launched its new router with Wi-Fi 6 support. Mercusys MR60X, launched in Turkey, increases the connection speed by 40 percent compared to Wi-Fi 5.
The router, which has a total of 1.5 Gigabit / s wireless speeds in dual channel, also allows more devices to be connected to the network at the same time. Allowing four times more devices to connect to the network than Wi-Fi 5, the MR60X also has technologies that expand the Wi-Fi coverage area. The device, which has four high-gain antennas on it, can transmit Wi-Fi signals to a wider area with these antennas. The device also supports the technology called beamforming. This technology directs Wi-Fi signals towards devices that want to connect to the network at home, allowing each device to access Wi-Fi signals. It also supports WPA3, the most advanced Wi-Fi security standard on the device. In this way, the device protects the network security at the highest level. Advanced parental controls and guest network application are among the other features included in the router.
