(Finance) – Nel majority summit on the Budget bill which took place today at Palazzo Chigi the Prime Minister, Giorgia Melonithe vice presidents, Antonio Tajani And Matteo Salvinithe leader of We Moderates, Maurizio Lupi, the Minister of Economy, Giancarlo Giorgetti and the deputy minister Maurizio Leo in “a very collaborative climate” they shared “some adjustments, in particular on the priorities of the budget: businesses, families and healthcare”. This is what Palazzo Chigi announced at the end of the meeting.
Among them main changes to the budget bill – MEF sources say – the introduction into the budget law being examined by the Chamber Commission, one “Reward IRES” in favor of companies that invest and increase employment as desired by Confindustria.
However, we will still have to wait for the reduction of the Irpef cut for the middle class which, government sources report, can only be launched after the consolidation of public accounts.
At the meeting it was also decided to exclude the police and local authority staff from turnover limitations and to introduce a 5% preferential taxation for nurses’ overtime and specialists.
Also expected is an increase from 30 thousand to 35 thousand euros in the income threshold of employees who also have income from independent professional services in order to be able to benefit from the application of the flat tax at 15%.
All these measures will enter the budget law with amendments by the rapporteurs or the government.
