In the “Earth Hour” movement, which is among the largest environmental campaigns in the world, millions of people and institutions turn off their lights for 1 hour to draw attention to climate change.
In the statement made today by Buckingham Palace, it was stated that the lights of the royal palaces Buckingham and Windsor will be turned off for one hour at 20.30 in the evening in support of the Earth Hour movement, which is held worldwide every year with the call of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). Earth Hour is known as a global movement in which the lights are turned off on the Saturday of the last week of March every year to raise environmental awareness. (DHA)
