Brynäs breaks the silence after the inappropriate behavior that all of hockey Sweden is talking about – now apologizes: “Over the line”

It is the action that the whole of hockey Sweden is talking about.
Now the Brynäs team captain is forced to apologize for his inappropriate behavior.
– I crossed the line of what is acceptable, he says in a statement.

Brynäs is the favorite to win the HockeyAllsvenskan playoffs and move up to the SHL this spring. They are also well on their way to the final after finishing 2-0 against BIK Karlskoga in the semi-final.

Larsson’s actions

But now an inappropriate behavior arouses strong criticism in hockey Sweden after Wednesday’s game. The team captain Johan Larsson did not appreciate at all when a TV4 cameraman came too close and filmed in Brynä’s substitute booth.

Larsson picked up the water bottle and sprayed the guy down. The incident has caused strong reactions around hockey Sweden and most people condemn the action.

Brynäs’s first words

Now Brynäs breaks the silence after the great criticism and Johan Larsson is forced to apologize for the way he treated a TV4 employee.
– There are hot feelings during a playoff series and which unfortunately spilled out yesterday on an employee at TV4. I crossed the line there for what is acceptable behavior, I apologize to the cameraman and TV4, of course it should not affect anyone outside, says the team captain in a statement on Brynä’s official website.

Also Brynäs club director Håkan Svedman clarifies that the club takes seriously what has happened.
– For Brynäs IF, it is very important that all visitors, external employees, partners and everyone who works with the matches should feel warmly welcomed and well received in the Monitor ERP Arena and at Brynäs IF. It is something you should be able to expect when you come to Gävle, says Svedman in the press release.
