Brunini confirmed as ACI Europe president

(Telestock) – Armando BruniniChief Executive Officer of SEA Milan Airportswas reconfirmed to the position of President of ACI Europethe European airports trade association, which held its 34th Annual Congress and General Assembly in Istanbul.

The mandate of President of ACI EUROPE was extended by one year. Brunini stressed that his re-election “comes at a time of growing challenges for the European airport industry and it is essential to remain united, working closely with the European institutions, as well as with national governments” and reaffirmed that “European airports are the beating heart of our continent”.

During the General Assembly, the following were appointed: members of the Council of ACI EUROPE for the first mandate: Selahattin BilgenCEO, iGA Istanbul Airport (Turkey), Luke BrosiCEO, Zürich Airport (Switzerland), Fanny CharlesCEO, SEALAR (France), Andrzej IlkowCEO, Polish Airports – Polskie Porty Lotnicze SA (Poland), Ken O’TooleCEO, Manchester Airports Group (UK), Laila OdinaCEO, Riga Airport (Latvia), Jesus Knight PintoCEO, SOF Connect – Sofia Airport (Bulgaria), Christian PoulsenCEO, Copenhagen Airports (Denmark).
