Brothers is a five-star action comedy directed by Max Barbakow. This film which features a family of crooks is available for streaming on Prime Video from October 17, 2024.
Brothers is a crazy action comedy that follows the improbable road trip of a family of criminals. The theme of the highly dysfunctional family is a hit and we can no longer count the face-to-face encounters, by turns hilarious and/or touching, between brothers and sisters who are completely opposed and yet obliged to ally (Lady Quiz on Disney+, The Righteous Gemstones on HBO…).
Brothers is distinguished by a five-star cast composed exclusively of Oscar-nominated or Oscar-winning stars (Josh Brolin, Peter Dinklage, Glenn Close, Brendan Fraser…). After making the entire planet cry or shudder in ultra-serious roles, the actors of Brothers wanted to treat themselves to a good slice of laughs in this crazy film adapted from a story by Ethan Coen and directed by Max Barbakow, already noted for Palm Springs. Brothers is available in streaming on Prime Video from October 17, 2024.
What is the plot of Brothers ?
Although it may not be obvious at first glance, Jady and Moke are twin brothers. Swindlers from generation to generation, Moke nevertheless decides to get back on the straight and narrow. This is without taking into account Jady’s certain talent for leading him into tangles which will compromise this beautiful resolution. As if an outlaw and psychologically unstable twin brother wasn’t enough, Moke must also manage the return of his mother, as crazy as she is invasive. Pursued by the police, criminals and an orangutan, the little family now reunited embarks on a chaotic roadtrip. The two brothers will also have to avoid killing each other… Under the inquisitive eye of a talkative parent.
