Brorsson’s blunder – went one penalty round too many

It was a tough day for Mona Brorsson in the pursuit start in the Biathlon World Cup. She became the worst Swede after losing count of the number of penalty rounds.
– I make mistakes that shouldn’t happen, she says after the race.

– I drive five penalty rounds, but I only have four barriers, says a somewhat dejected Mona Brorsson when TV4 Sport’s Maud Bernhagen interviews her after the race.

– It felt much better to ride today, but I don’t really have the head that is required for the shooting range, she says.

Mona Brorsson finished in 39th place in the pursuit start. The best Swede was Hanna Öberg, who ended up in fifth place.
