Bromölla: Car hit by a train

A train has run over a car at a railway crossing in Bromölla, the police write on their website. About 30 passengers should be on board the train.

A small car has been hit by an Öresund train at a guarded railway crossing in Gualöv in Bromölla.

The extent of the injuries to the people involved is still unclear.

According to the police, one person was traveling in the car that was hit, and around 30 people should be on board the train.

According to the emergency services, no passengers on board the train were injured.

– The train has not derailed, says Mikael Svensson.

Tobaksvägen in Bromölla has been closed in both directions, and there are train stops on the route.

The police have held an initial interview with the train driver.

– It is a serious accident. That’s as much as I can say at the moment, says police spokesperson Evelina Olsson.
