Brokers threatened buyers
A family who bought a cottage through a Malmö broker was threatened by the broker after discovering that the bidding was fake.
When the family discovered that the previous bidders had withdrawn their bids before their bids, they contacted the broker, who then threatened to make a report of concern to social services regarding their children, reports Sydsvenskan.
The broker was warned by the Real Estate Agency and must now pay damages of SEK 15,000 to the buyers.
