Broberg lost after the goalkeeper was hit and led away

Edsbyn came from the beating in Lidköping last Wednesday when Villa won 8-1. There was a great desire for revenge in Söderhamn, but it started badly and the home team lost to 3-1.

– There were still no ghosts, says Edsbyn’s Oscar Wikblad.

In the 55th minute, goalkeeper Hampus Lindén was hit and replaced by Max Bergström, who almost immediately saved a penalty from Wikblad.

Immediately after a timeout for Broberg, Wikblad stayed in front and equalized at 3-3.

– It was revenge for the penalty miss, says Wikblad.

Broberg’s first loss

Albin Bysell drew 4-3 from a corner. After a corner, Teemu Määttä stormed forward and in the middle of all the Brobergs players he managed to push in the final 5-3.

– It was incredibly nice, almost indescribable. We were so hungry for revenge after the Villa match, says Wikblad.

Broberg led the game for a long time but suffered the first point loss of the season.

– We are not satisfied with the match, but we should still have won, says Broberg’s Frithiof Hagberg
