The BRICS summit will take place in South Africa. President Cyril Ramaphosa confirmed this as some media spoke of seeking a plan B. The group’s heads of state from Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa are due to meet in Johannesburg from August 22-24. The presence of Vladimir Putin has still not been confirmed.
