The qualifying ghost takes an increasingly firmer grip around HV71 in SHL.
Away against Luleå there was a new loss, 2-4.
Big home hero was Brendan Shinnimin – two days after getting into trouble with his own supporters.
With five rounds left, HV71 dropped additional land and is now seven points after Linköping above the qualifying line. This then both second -in -house Modo – 3-0 against Malmö – and Linköping – 2-1 after an extension against Färjestad – won on away ground.
The crisis continues for HV71
HV71 has not won in Luleå since September 2017, but took the lead in the match (Jamiro Reber) and acknowledged to 2-2 (Jonathan ang) at the beginning of the third. But neither the management goal nor the receipt lasted very long.

– I think we give away simple things. It is not in level. Everyone tries to do their best, but sometimes it doesn’t bounce right, says HV coach Anton Blomqvist to TV4 Play.

Brendan Shinnimin ended up in a verbal quarrel with parts of the Luleåkäcken after Tuesday’s loss in the rival meeting with Skellefteå. Last Wednesday, the Canadian apologized in a statement on the club’s website. Now he took revenge.

– It feels good to know that they are still supporting me. There have been a lot of emotion, but we are adults and can take responsibility for what we do, he tells TV4 Play and continues:
– What happened was unfortunate, but we have moved on. We have the most passionate fans in the league and I love to play in front of them.
