(Finance) – The BREATHE platformopened by cooperative, Legacoop, Banca Etica and Ecomill to encourage the birth of Renewable Energy Communities (CERs) in cooperative form, capable of helping the environment and the accounts of families and businesses at the same time, participates in the first edition of KEY – The Energy Transition, the fair that in Rimini picks up the baton of Key Energy by turning into an independent event, with a new format, a new positioning and a new timing. An appointment entirely dedicated to the challenge that awaits us, that of ensuring that in 2030 72% of electricity generation comes from renewable sources.
The RESPIRA stand it will be number 005 inside pavilion B3. For the platform aimed at creating CER, it will be an important opportunity to make itself known, activate new contacts and receive important stimuli. In fact, K.EY also wants to be a hub of cultural, scientific and technical reference and a community catalyst capable of connecting and communicating with each other stakeholders, players and protagonists of the world of renewables.
During the trade fair, the four promoters who gave life to the Respira platform – Coopfond, Legacoop, Banca Etica and Ecomill – have scheduled a meeting with all the partners who have gathered around the project. The meeting will be an opportunity to take stock of the results achieved exactly six months after the launch of the initiative which has already collected dozens of requests and proposals to activate CERs in a cooperative form, with the aim of defining the strategy for the next 12 months of activity.
THE RESPIRA partner they are in fact able to guide citizens and businesses through all the phases of the process of building and starting up a renewable energy community. A team of experts is, in fact, available in the various areas involved: Legacoop supports the proponents in fulfilling the regulatory and statutory aspects necessary for the establishment of a CER in cooperative form; cooperative offers financing in the form of equity; Ecomill makes its crowdinvesting platform available for a participatory equity collection between citizens and members of cooperatives; Ethical Bank makes loans and other financial and bancassurance instruments available for the implementation of suitable projects; the ESCo (Energy Service Company) RESPIRA partners take care of the technical aspects, from the feasibility study to the definition of the best plant engineering choices.
