Thai ship has sunk – 31 marines missing

today at 06.09 Jacob Ruderstam

Thailand’s military has launched a major rescue operation after one of its navy ships sank off the country’s coast, reports AP.

A total of 106 people were on board when the accident occurred.

75 have been rescued from the water but 31 are still missing.

Three naval vessels and two helicopters are participating in the search.

Strong winds at sea must have caused the ship’s electrical system to be destroyed.

Pavone is a well-known leader in the American anti-abortion movement. He has been criticized for posts on social media, including a 2016 video of a fetus lying on an altar and an accompanying post urging people not to vote for Democrat Hillary Clinton.

  • Eleven seriously injured after flight chaos

A Hawaiian Airlines flight ended up in severe turbulence on Sunday about half an hour before landing in Honolulu – which created chaos in the cabin.

Eleven people are said to have been seriously injured when the turbulence caused the passengers to be lifted from their seats.

A woman tells for the Hawaii News Now site that her mother flew up and hit the ceiling.

The plane, flight 35 from Phoenix, was able to land safely in Honolulu, where a large rescue mission was waiting to receive injured passengers.

278 passengers and ten cabin crew members were on board.

A total of 20 injured people were taken to the emergency room by ambulance.

An early theory is that the unexpected turbulence was created by a thunderstorm moving through the area.

Twitter bans users from linking to competing social media sites, the news agency reports AP.

Users may also not encourage others to follow them on these social media sites.

Anyone who breaks the rules risks having their account temporarily suspended.

Twitter’s new owner Elon Musk has received a lot of criticism since he took over the platform. Among other things, because previously suspended users were allowed to come back and several journalists had their accounts closed.
