Breaking news: Israel’s attacks on Gaza continue. Director of Al-Shifa Hospital announced that at least 20 Palestinians lost their lives in Israel’s attack on a school in Gaza.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs in Gaza also announced that there were deaths and injuries as a result of Israel targeting displaced civilians heading to the south of Gaza.

The number of Palestinians killed by Israel in the blockaded Gaza Strip, where it has been carrying out intense attacks for 35 days, increased by 266 in the last 24 hours, reaching 11 thousand 78.

Ashraf al-Qudra, Spokesperson of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, gave information at a press conference about the loss of life and the extent of the humanitarian crisis due to Israel’s attacks on Gaza since October 7.

Kudra pointed out that Israel killed 266 people in the last 24 hours with its attacks, and said that the number of people killed in the Gaza Strip since October 7 increased to 11 thousand 78, including 4 thousand 506 children and 3 thousand 27 women.

Stating that the number of injured people in Gaza increased to 27 thousand 490, Kudra stated that they received missing reports about 2 thousand 700 people, including 1500 children, who were trapped under the rubble.

Kudra emphasized that Israel killed 198 healthcare workers, rendered 53 ambulances unusable, targeted 135 healthcare institutions and caused 21 hospitals and 47 healthcare centers to be out of service in its attacks on healthcare centers and their employees.

Kudra said that the Israeli army targeted the Şifa Hospital Campus 5 times in a row and pointed out that Israel continued its attacks around the hospital.

Kudra shared the information that Israeli forces detained two ambulance drivers who were returning from the south to the north of the Gaza Strip, despite working in coordination with the International Committee of the Red Cross.

The Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health in Gaza stated that the Israeli army surrounded Nasr and Rantisi Children’s Hospitals, directly targeting and endangering the lives of thousands of people, including healthcare workers, displaced civilians and patients.

Emphasizing the lack of fuel, Kudra added that critical hours were experienced when hospitals in Gaza city and northern Gaza were out of service due to lack of fuel.
