The Press Center of the State Committee for National Security announced that a “criminal and subversive” group that planned to seize power through violence and destabilize the socio-political situation in the country through mass unrest had been foiled.
The investigation found that the members of the group in question were people who “supported a criminal ideology and at the same time fanatically defended a religious ideology.”
The statement said that improvised explosive devices, firearms, ammunition, radios, law enforcement uniforms, unmanned aerial vehicles and other prohibited publications were found in the homes and cars of those captured in the operation.
