The US Geological Survey (USGS) reported that a magnitude 7 earthquake occurred 126 kilometers southeast of Kyzyl-Su district, located near the border region of Kyrgyzstan with China’s Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region.
In the statement, it was stated that the earthquake occurred at a depth of approximately 28 kilometers.
PEOPLE TOOK TO THE STREETS
While people took to the streets due to the earthquake felt in the capital Bishkek, no loss of life or property has been reported yet.
