The Ride Will Be Returning for A 21st Year Thanks to Ensuring Brant, A Volnteer Community Group that included Past Riders, Lansdowne Customer Families and Supporters of the Regional Treatment Center.

“Some of us Got Together Last August to Talk about What We Could Do To Continue The Event,” Brian Kinrade, of Ensting Brant, Said. “With 20 Years of History, the Blueprint was already there to host a successful fundraiser.

Previously Organized by the Lansdowne Children’s Center Foundation, the Ride Celebrated Its 20th Year with a grand finale in 2024. The Foundation is the Fund-Raising Arm of the Lansdowne Children’s Center and Foundation Officials Announced Last Year that would Organizing the Event.

“I Personally Didn’t Want to see the Ride for Lansdowne Kids End,” Kinrade Said. “My Kids Received Help with speech (Therapy) from Lansdowne, and they’ve now grown up to the Canadian Armed Forces and in our Brantford Hospital,” Kinrade Said.

Other families who have supported the ride over the years have similar stories, kinrade said.

“All of them have seen the Incredible Impact Lansdowne Staff and Services Have On A Child’s Development,” The Brantford-Born and Raised Kinrade Said. “The Confidence and Belief that Lansdowne Inspires in Children and Their Families, It’s Life Changing.

“I Hope Each of Our Riders and Donors Appreciates The Small Miracles of A Child’s First Words, or First Steps, and Embrace the Overwhelming Joy of Seeing ‘The Impossible’ Shatered by Belief, and a Relentless Pursuit of A Child’s Potential.”

Kinrade Said the Confidence and Belief that Lansdowne Inspires in Children and Their Families is Life Changing.

Lansdowne is a highly accredited children’s Treatment Center and Smart Start Hub. The Center Connects Caregivers With Services and Supports for Infants, Children and Young People with Physical, Communication and/Or Developmental Special Needs.

Thousands of Children in Brantford, Brant, Haldimand, Norfolk, Six Nations of the Grand River and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation are supported by Lansdowne. Based in Brantford, Lansdowne has been sites in Caledonia, Dunnville and Simcoe.

Founded by Bob Caissie, a long-time supporter of Lansdowne More than 20 Years Ago, This Year’s Motorcycle Ride Takes Place June 28.

It will ben Begin and end at Brimich Logistics, 15 Kraemer’s Way in Brantford. Registration Begins at 9 am and kickstands will go up at 11 am to begin the 90-minute police-escorted ride Along the Grand River to Haldimand County.

Brantford Police Officers Provide The Escort and Are Joined by Officers from Waterloo, Hamilton and London.

The Event also included in Continental Breakfast, Hot Lunch and Live Music.

A Not-For-Profit Community Association, ENSURING BRANT Originéd from the amalgamation of Two Two Train Neighbourhood Associations-East Ward Echo Place and the Hub the Association, With the Backing of Donations and City Grants has been provided Community Events Including Music in the Park, Cooking Classes for Kids, A Business Fun Fair.
