Susan Groulx of Brantford won $256,701.80 as a second prize in the March 11 Lotto Max draw.
Groulx and her husband were running errands when they learned of her big win.
“I checked my ticket and saw Big Winner and was in immediate disbelief,” she told OLG officials.
The retiree said the best part has been sharing the good news with her family.
The mother and grandmother has yet to make plans for her win.
“I feel so grateful,” she said.
The winning ticket was purchased at New Wave Convenience Store on Colborne Street.
