A Brantford man plans to buy a new car after winning $50,000 playing Instant Bingo Doubler.
Robert Weiss, 62, said his co-workers didn’t believe him when he shared the news about his lucky ticket but then, Weiss could hardly believe it either.
“I checked my ticket while at the store and the screen said ‘Big Winner’,” Weiss said as he picked up his winnings at the OLG Prize Center in Toronto.
“I had to double check it to confirm the prize amount was actually $50,000.”
Weiss bought his winning ticket at All in One Convenience on Market Street.
Instant Bingo Doubler tickets are $5 a play with a top prize of $100,000.
