A Brantford man is $100,000 richer after saying ‘yes’ to Encore.

Brent Staats – who just began playing the lottery regularly this year – notched his first big win after matching the last six of seven Encore numbers in exact order in the Lotto Max draw on February 9.

The winning ticket was purchased on OLG.ca
The 39-year-old father of two received an email from OLG stating he had won the prize.
“I was so excited and happy to see I won,” he shared. “The first person I told was my wife and she was in disbelief – she couldn’t believe I won. It’s surreal.”
Staats said he plans to use the winnings to purchase a trailer so the family can travel.
Encore draws take place daily, offer 22 ways to win, and can be played in conjunction with most lottery games for an extra $1.
“I always add Encore to my ticket,” said Staats.
