Brantford resident Stephen Grant won the second prize of $100,39.60 in the April 19 Lotto 6/49 draw.
Grant, 40, said he has been a regular lottery player for more than 10 years. The skilled trade worker noticed he had an email from OLG saying he won.
“I showed my wife and we were so happy. It was so unexpected. This puts me about two years ahead of my life plan. It will go into my fund to build a house.”
The winning ticket was purchased on OLG.ca.
