An information fair will be held at Mohawk Park Pavilion, 51 Lynnwood Dr., on Wednesday, Aug. 21 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

“The goal of the event is to connect newcomers within the community and share valuable information about programs and services offered by our partners across all sectors,” said David Vujasinovich, the city’s community initiatives coordinator, in a news release.

All members of the public are invited to attend.

Children are welcome to bring their bathing suits and cool off in the Sprinklemania Splash Pad. Food and refreshments will be available while supplies last.

“Supporting new Canadians and their families is an important priority of our Inclusive Community Plan,” said Mayor Kevin Davis. “On behalf of city council, we’re proud to see so many community partners come together to showcase Brantford as a vibrant, welcoming place to call home.”
