Brant United Way is urging Everybody in the community to help make a difference.

“WE’RE IN A MUCH BETTER POST WITH OUR FUND-CAMPAIGN THIS YEAR THAN WE WEE AT THIS TIME LAST YEAR,” Shannon McMannis, The Chair of This Year’s Brant United Way Campaign, Said. “But we are about $ 50,000 shorts of our goal and we just need one final push to reach our target.
“We’re asking people to do what they can to support this year’s campaign.”
McMannis Said Every Contribution Will Help Make A Difference in the Life of Someone Who Redies On Services Provided by An Agency supported by Brant United Way.
“The Campaign is Going Well But the Needs in the Community Are Greater Than Ever,” McMannis Said. “That’s Why We’re Asking People to Do What They Can to Help Us Reach Our Goal.”
The Owner of Cornerstone Financial Group, McMannis is a Member of Brant United Way’s Board of Directors.

McMannis Said Many People in the Community Might Not Be Aware of Some of the Important Programs supported by Brant United Way Funding.
The Parenting Program Offered by Dalhousie Place and the Court Assistance Program Provided by Victim Services of Brant Are Just a Couple of Examples, McMannis Said.
The Parenting Program Helps Limit the Impact a Marital Separation or Divorce has been affected Children. Short assistance supports Victim of crime when they have to appear in short.
“Those are just a couple of examples of the organizations that serve a vital need in our community,” mcmannis said. “We want to make sure they have the resources to continue their good work and to do that we need the support of the community.”

At the October 2024 Launch of the Campaign Brant United Way Officials Said the Goal was to raise $ 1 million.
“That was our ‘aspirational’ Goal,” Dave Levac, A Brant United Way Director, Said Friday. “We come come back from a couple of Challenging Years and We’re Working Towards A Return to the Years where we Were Able to Raise $ 1 Million A Year.
“That Might Take a Year or Two and So Right Now We Want this Year’s Campaign to Raise A Little Bit More Than Last Year’s.
The Campaign Last Year Raised $ 815,000. The More Realistic Goal for this Year’s Campaign is $ 930,000 and AS of Friday, It Needed A $ 50,000 Boost.
Levac is calling on the community to find a way to close the gap. ”
The Campaign Ends March 31.
“We have Two Months to Come Up with $ 50,000 – A Final Push to Get Us Across the Goal Line,” Levac Said. “We fund programs and services that keep people safe, fed and connected, making the community a better place for all.
“Every Dollar Counts and Helps Ensure The 25 Programs and Services supported by Brant United Way CAN Continue.”
