Brant Celebrates Culture Days will be part of the nationwide celebration of arts, culture, and creativity this fall.
“We are putting out a call across the County of Brant for those who participate in cultural activities, to join u for Brant Celebrates Culture Days,” said Kayla Cicman, the County of Brant’s arts, culture, and heritage officer. “A variety of community members are encouraged to take part: musicians, dancers, theater performers, local historians, crafters, authors, culinary artists, as well as museums, heritage sites, and more.”
Culture Days run across the country September 22 to October 15, 2023.
All cultural groups and individuals are invited to organize an event highlighting the importance of local arts and culture.
To learn more about participating, including the opportunity to receive up to $1,000 in funding support, a free information session and workshop will be held at 1 pm on Monday, June 19 at the County of Brant council chambers located at 7 Broadway St. W. in Paris.
“This session will allow individuals to meet with other creatives and cultural groups in the community,” Cicman noted. “We are hoping that together, we can help our community participate in and support local arts and culture.”
