Brant OPP seek help to identify robbery suspect

Brant OPP are seeking the public’s help to identify a robbery suspect.

On Thursday, March 7 at about 4:45 pm a male entered a business on Colborne Street West, in the former Burford township, brandished an edged weapon and demanded cash.

The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money. He left the scene in an older model tan or gold-colored Toyota four-door sedan. The vehicle was last seen on Oakhill Drive.

No injuries were reported.

Police say the suspect is a white male, about 6’1” in height. At the time of the incident he was wearing a black hoodie with a yellow reflective stripe on the shoulder area, dark pants, black sunglasses, gloves, and a face covering.

Video surveillance is being reviewed in an attempt to identify the suspect.
