Brant OPP on Thursday released an image of a suspect in “smash-and-grab” style break-ins at three Paris businesses that resulted in the theft of cash drawers.
Police said they got a call at about 7:15 am on Nov. 6 about a break-in at a business on Rest Acres Road that was discovered when employees arrived for work. Police then got calls about break-ins at two additional businesses in the same area.
Police said the suspect entered the businesses between 3:30 am and 4 am by smashing the glass of front doors.
The suspect removed cash drawers and fled in a dark-coloured SUV driven by a second suspect.
Police are asking residents in the area of Arlington Parkway and Newstead Road to check their security systems for suspicious activity in the area at the time of the break-ins.
Anyone with information about the break-ins is asked to contact Brant OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
