County of Brant OPP have charged a 57-year-old Markham resident with impaired driving.

Police were alerted just before 1 am on Sunday, February 18 to a possible impaired driver on Rest Acres Road in Paris.

Officers located the vehicle, and after speaking with the driver determined that several alcoholic beverages were consumed prior to driving the vehicle. Further testing was conducted at the detachment.
The accused has been charged with operation while impaired, operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentrations (80 plus) and driving motor vehicle with open container of liquor.
