Brant County is offering Family Day activities and free transportation via Brant Transit on Monday.
Transportation can include trips anywhere in the county and going from the county to the City of Brantford (and vice-versa).
To learn how to book your ride, visit www.brant.ca/Transit. The county encourages booking a ride at least 24 hours in advance.
Family Day activities include:
• Storybook walks at the Mount Pleasant Nature Park and the Janice Hunt Memorial Park (3 The Key, Burford);
• Find Waldo at local parks;
• Cross-country skiing, snowshoeing or hiking at local trails;
• Skating for all ages at the Brant Sports Complex, South Dumfries Community Center and Burford Community Centre. The cost is $1 a person;
• Kinderplay is open to children, aged 1 to 8, at the Syl Apps Community Center in Paris. The cost is $1 a person.
The county said COVID-19 protocols remain in effect.
