A four-month-old kitten named Bennett benefited from such funding.
“He was brought to the Brant County SPCA by two wonderful community members after presumably being thrown from a moving vehicle,” said Logan Stengel, director of fundraising and resource development. “As a result, Bennett suffered some facial trauma and an injury to his right leg that would ultimately result in an amputation.
“Thanks to the community… he is receiving the care he requires to be happy and healthy.”
Stengel said a consistent source of income helps the Brant County SPCA prepare for animals like Bennett whose needs go beyond typical procedures.
“We are very proud to offer assistance to Bennett and other animals like him,” said director of animal care Nadine Dwinnell. “Having the opportunity to double your donation through our Giving Tuesday Campaign is a wonderful way to expand your impact and allows us to reach even more animals.”
