“We organize this for the local residents, not for ourselves,” says organizer Yvonne Bos of Marbo Promotions. “We are the only ones who organize something there in the neighborhood.” According to the entrepreneur, the demand for the fair comes from residents and entrepreneurs from Kanaleneiland. There are three to four street fairs per year throughout the district, two of which are on Marshalllaan.
