The Italian National Team has in fact in its calendar two test matches against Argentina, the first at Palazzo Wannya Florence on July 16, the second in Bologna, increasingly the primary venue for the most important events in Italian volleyball, especially by virtue of the agreement three-year agreement (started in 2022) between the Emilia-Romagna Region and the Italian Volleyball Federation. Thanks to this agreement, Emilia-Romagna it has in fact become one of the main venues of the federal disciplines, hosting international events (men’s VNL finals in 2022, the inaugural match of the European Men’s Championships in 2023), national events, training camps for the youth national teams, stages of the Italian beach volleyball championship, but also the finals of the Italian sitting volleyball championship, the Hall of Fame ceremony and some stages of the Volley S3. It was therefore natural to identify the Emilian capital as the last stop before the most important event of the year 2024.
