The alarm came to the rescue service at three o’clock. When the force arrived at the scene, there was a lot of fire and smoke divers had to save the four people who were in the apartment.
– Above all, there was a lot of smoke, which meant that we had to help these people get out, says Joel Johansson, officer on duty at Rädningtjänst Syd.
Started in electric moped
The fire probably started in an electric moped or electric scooter that was charging in the apartment’s living room.
– At least that was what we were told by the people we rescued, says Joel Johansson.
In addition to the boy, who according to Region Skåne is between 10 and 14 years old, two adults in their 50s were also seriously injured. A woman in her 40s was slightly injured, all four are being treated in hospital.
