A boy, who was traveling on a bicycle, has been hit by a car in Sala, according to the emergency services, reports P4 Västmanland.
The accident happened just after half past four on Saturday at the Berggatan-Silvermyntsgatan intersection and the boy was taken to hospital by ambulance.
According to Region Västmanland, the boy has life-threatening injuries.
– There has been an accident which we are investigating as a traffic offence, but no one has been informed of any suspicion, says RLC commander Mitt to TV4 Nyheterna.
