A boy under the age of 15 has been arrested on suspicion of the shooting death of a banker in Skurup.
He was stopped on an Öresund train last night after a major reconnaissance operation, according to information given to TV4 Nyheterna.
The murder occurred late on Saturday evening at a villa in Skurup.
A 55-year-old man was then shot dead in what is described as a pure execution.
The police have conducted an intensive killer hunt and last night were able to arrest a boy under the age of 15 on the Öresund train as a suspect in the fatal shooting, according to information given to TV4 Nyheterna. The teenager was on his way to Denmark when the police, after a major reconnaissance operation, swooped in and stopped him.
Suspected act of revenge
The prosecutor who leads the investigation does not want to comment on the information.
– The only thing I can say is that the preliminary investigation is at a very early stage. This means that we are working intensively on obtaining material, says senior prosecutor Tomas Olvmyr.
The man who was shot dead worked as a banker and had a family relationship with a man in his 20s who is in custody for a previous shooting in Skurup. Saturday’s murder is therefore being investigated as revenge for the first incident.
TV4 Nyheterna has sought the boy’s legal counsel for a comment.
