Pasta from the Lustucru brand is suspected of being contaminated with listeria. The Rappel Conso site recommends not consuming certain boxes of ready-made pasta. We will explain everything to you.
Lovers of ready-to-eat pasta, read this article carefully. Boxes of pasta from the Lustucru brand are suspected of being contaminated with listeria. The Rappel Conso site therefore recommends not consuming them, because of the risk of being contaminated by the bacterium listeria monocytogenes and of developing listeriosis.
What are the offending pastes?
The reminder sheet therefore recommends not to consume the boxes “pasta serpentini carbonara” of 360 grams of Lustucru brand purchased after June 8, whose use-by date is July 4. Sold throughout France, this pasta is therefore suspected of containing listeria bacteria.
These boxes were marketed throughout France. They were notably sold in Casinos, U supermarkets, Auchan stores, as well as by the purchasing group of E. Leclerc centers (Galec), the Intermarché, Netto, Provera (which is the purchasing center for Cora hypermarkets) and Match supermarkets.
What is the course of action?
The government site explains that contamination by this bacterium can cause serious forms of the disease, leading to neurological complications as well as maternal or fetal problems in pregnant women and fragile people, such as children or the elderly.
“People who have consumed the “products” and who have fever, isolated or accompanied by headaches, and body aches, are invited to consult their doctor, notifying him of this consumption.” estimates the Rappel Conso site. It is also possible to contact the brand’s consumer service at 09.70.81.86.55 and obtain a refund for the product.
