Now Prison Break stars Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller are teaming up again: As Variety reports, the well-rehearsed duo has landed another series that is currently causing a stir in Hollywood. Snatchback is the title of the project. It is an action thriller.

The story of Snatchback was inspired by true events and tells the story of a team of privately hired agents who are called in whenever there is a tricky hostage situation anywhere in the world. They venture into the most dangerous places to free the innocent.

The project is being developed under the umbrella of Universal TV. A specific channel where Snatchback will be broadcast is is not yet clearBut since the series is already accompanied by a great buzz, it shouldn’t be long before Snatchback finds a home port in the TV and/or streaming landscape.
Scott Rosenbaum is the creative head of the project. He is listed in the Variety report as screenwriter and executive producer. His credits are impressive: He was involved in, among others, exciting and action-packed series like The Shield, V, Queen of the South and Chuck.

Since the project is still in its early stages, there is no specific start date for Snatchback.
