Oudewater – Wheelchair tennis players Diede de Groot and Jiske Griffioen have qualified for the semi-finals of Roland Garros. De Groot, from Oudewater, was too strong for the French Pauline Deroulede (2-0). The Woerdense Griffioen won the quarterfinals against the third placed American Dana Mathewson: 2-1.
