The official statement about this important partnership included the following: “Borusan EnBW Enerji, a joint venture of Borusan Holding and Energie Baden-Württemberg AG (EnBW), signed a collaboration with Petrol Ofisi Group that will start a new era by expanding its electric vehicle charging station network in Turkey. In the first phase, 1 billion TL investment will be made in the locations prioritized among Petrol Ofisi’s 2000 fuel stations across Turkey. With the vehicles to be charged within the scope of this cooperation, each charging point will prevent approximately 4500 tons of carbon emissions. Borusan EnBW Energy, which focuses on the green transformation of energy to combat the climate and energy crisis and plays an active role in the green energy transformation of our country with its portfolio consisting of 100 percent renewable energy sources, accelerates its electric vehicle charging service with Petrol Ofisi Group, the traditional leader of Turkey’s fuel and total lubricants sectors. will add. With high-speed chargers that will be used at stations and certified as a 100% renewable energy source, the battery charge rate in electric vehicles will reach 80% within 30 minutes. With the vehicles to be charged within the scope of this cooperation, each charging point will prevent approximately 4500 tons of carbon emissions. Station transformations to be initiated within the scope of the cooperation will be determined by prioritizing according to criteria such as traffic density determined throughout Turkey, distance between units and stations, and additional services offered to customers. Thanks to the presence of high-efficiency fast charging points provided by Borusan EnBW Enerji, available to all electric vehicle owners in Turkey, in Petrol Ofisi’s extensive station network, users’ range concerns will also be eliminated.”
