A 35-year-old man from Småland is charged with forging his wife’s signature on loan applications for several years, reports P4 Kronoberg.

The man took out five loans totaling SEK 750,000 in various banks and other credit institutions. The applications were signed with the husband’s own name and the wife’s forged signature. In addition, he used her bank ID.

The charge concerns gross fraud and falsification of documents. The man has confessed and the two are no longer married.
