Few have forgotten the charismatic and humble dairy farmer Simon Ohlsson31, who we saw in 2018 step into Bonde søk fru.
Among the letter writers were, among others Frida26, and a strong chemistry emerged between the profiles.
Love blossomed between the couple and it all ended with Simon’s last choice landing on Frida – who was super happy. The profiles would then, (like all new farmer couples) go on a romantic trip to Rhodes.

Shortly after the last election, Frida went home to get some clothes and other things she had been without during the time on the farm. And then… then hell began for Simon.

Simon and Frida were to spend the night together at an airport hotel at Arlanda in Stockholm and once there he tried in vain to reach Frida several times. Instead of Frida answering, he was greeted by the same cold automated message: “The subscriber you are trying to reach cannot take your call at this time”.
The production ends up sending Simon on the trip himself. In the room, he is greeted by a glass of champagne and a luxurious terrace where he sat and bathed.
Luckily, Simon is met with a fantastic surprise – his friend Per is coming to visit Rhodes. In an interview with News24 told Per that he had an hour to get ready to go on a trip with his friend. And that he therefore didn’t even bring sunscreen and swimming trunks.

Together, the guys had a very nice stay together where they could eat well, drink well and talk about life. But then the lonely life on the farm still awaited and once at home it was simply time to mend his broken heart.
This is how Bonde-Simon lives today. But then the question is – how did things go then?
Well, despite sadness and hard times, Simon met the love of his life just one year later Amanda Ohlsson with whom he is today both married and has two children. The couple lives in Kalmar and seems to be happier than ever.
“Now with hindsight, I wasn’t meant to find love in the program. Because if I had, I would never have found the greatest love of my life Amanda Håkansson# you make me so incredibly happy, you really showed me what love is is.
We are really made for each other, I couldn’t have dreamed of such a beautiful girl like you. You make me whole in my heart. A day with you is like floating on a cloud. I love you,” Simon wrote in a beautiful post.
Well that ends well.
