What is the Netflix action film from the creators of Avengers Endgame about?
Court Gentry (Ryan Gosling) is arguably the CIA’s most talented mercenary. However, no one knows the true identity of the ex-agent and former black ops hitman. All his skills are put to the test when Gentry uncovers secrets that are straining the Secret Service. Because now he suddenly becomes himself target of his former clients.
His former CIA colleague Lloyd Hansen (Chris Evans) puts a bounty on the death dealer. On the following one worldwide manhunt numerous international professional killers are involved who want to catch the fugitive gentry – whatever the cost.
The Netflix film is based on the eponymous novel by Mark Greaney, which started in 2009 in a series that now has 11 parts and is still ongoing. The next book in the Gray Man series is expected in 2023.
