After the sci-fi highlight Dune 2, which was hotly anticipated by fans, was postponed and will no longer be released this year, the time has finally come at the end of February 2024. Before returning to the big screen, a new Dune: Part Two trailer teases this again probably the most powerful science fiction experience of the coming cinema year. The video teases nothing less than “a form of power the likes of which our world has never seen.”

This is the plot of the sci-fi sequel
Dune 2 shows above all how Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) joins the Fremento stand with them against the oppressive and lead them into battle. In addition to stars like Chalamet and Zendaya as Chani, the Dune sequel also returns Rebecca Ferguson as Lady Jessica, Dave Bautista as Glossu Rabban, Stellan Skarsgård as the evil Baron Harkonnen and Javier Bardem as the Fremen leader.
New additions include Austin Butler as Harkonnen’s nephew, Florence Pugh as Princess Irulan and Léa Seydoux as Lady Margot.
When does Dune 2 start in cinemas?
The second sci-fi part runs from February 29, 2024 in German cinemas. Director Denis Villeneuve also wants to make a third Dune film, but it may still be a long time before that happens.
