A bomb threat was made via e-mail to the public broadcaster ZDF television channel in Mainz, Germany, at around 08.20 local time. While the building belonging to the television channel was evacuated, approximately 600 employees were kept outside for an hour and a half. In the statement made by the police, it was stated that no dangerous situation was found as a result of the security scan carried out in the building with bomb disposal teams and dogs.
SCHOOLS WERE EVACUATED
In Germany, a bomb threat was made to 5 schools in the cities of Erfurt, Solingen, Karlsruhe, Regensburg and Augsburg in the morning. While schools were evacuated for security reasons, teams started a search in the buildings. In the statement made by local sources, it was stated that no negative situation has been detected so far and an investigation has been launched into the incident.
