Police and emergency services have been alerted to a bomb threat against a school in Surahammar on Wednesday morning.
– We are on site with the police and rescue services, says Magnus Jansson Klarin, press spokesperson at police region Mitt.
The threat came to the school at 07:15 on Wednesday morning, whereupon teachers alerted the police. It is currently unclear whether the threat is acute or not.
No students are reported to be at the school, which has not yet opened for the day.
– We do not know if it is something sharp, it is too early to say. The school has not opened so there are no students at the school, we are blocking off the area, says Magnus Jansson Klarin.
Teachers who were at the school when the threat came in have been gathered elsewhere.
